Outfit, face and mini haul

Hey guys!

So I've managed to get my camera working again, yippee! So I can finally get some better quality pictures, however I still have no idea where to place it for outfit pictures so it's gonna have to be rubbish mirror ones. I literally have nowhere high enough to put it on and noone to take pictures of me, I may invest in a shelf..

Today I went for lunch with my best friend who I hadn't seen in two weeks which is ridiculous for us! We also ended up popping into the shops because we just can't resist, even when I shouldn't be spending money.

Blouse - Primark | Skirt - New Look (belt included) | Blazer - Primark
Bralet underneath blouse - New Look | Cross necklace - Primark (with my courage ring added onto it)
I plaited my hair when wet and left it to dry, clipped up the front and voila
Double finger cross ring - Ebay
Moustache ring - River Island (for Movember)

Estee Lauder Double-wear foundation in 2W1
E.l.f. coverstick in 'Apricot Beige' under eyes
LUSH colour supplement in 'Light Yellow' on red cheeks and the scar on my nose
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 'Peach Glow'
GOSH Bronzing Pearls
Revlon blush in 'Berry Rich'
Natural Collection eye shadow in 'Crushed Walnut' in eyebrows
E.l.f. clear mascara on eyebrows
E.l.f. eyelid primer
Natural Collection eye shadow in 'Barley'
MUA eyeshadow in 'Pearl'
E.l.f. liquid liner
Rimmel Soft Kohl eye liner
Natural Collection LashBuild mascara
E45 lip balm

These pictures were actually taken after I went out as I didn't have time before hand, so you can see how well these products last! Also why I'm wearing the earrings I bought whilst out.. So onto the few bits I bought at the shops...

Primark - £1 | I love this colour! I'm not a huge fan of silver and gold looked a bit funny with my hair, then I spotted these. Perfect.
Primark - £1.50 | For when I clip up my big bun
Primark - £1 | My friend has this and really likes it so I thought it would be interesting to test out
Primark - £2.50 | I saw this on a beauty youtubers video (I can't remember whos!) so wanted to try it out!
Superdrug - £4 | I gave one of these away in my giveaway but forgot to pick one up for myself! I'm so excited to try this, especially as I've seen it talked about as a cheaper version of the naked palette!
So that's everything I bought, I've noticed when I try not to spend money I just end up buying cheaper things thinking i'm being good when really it probably all adds up.. But hey I'd say £10 for all this is pretty good! Have you tried the MUA Heaven and Earth palette? What do you think of it?

The Winterlicious TAG

Hey guys!

So I've seen the Winterlicious TAG floating around the blogging/youtube world and now it's my turn! I love winter and I LOVE Christmas so this makes me super super excited!

1. Favourite Winter Nail Polish?
Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine polish in Pomegranite! I love this polish, it is so shiny and it's such a lovely deep, kind of purpley red colour, perfect for autumn/winter!

2. Favourite Winter lip product?

Well i'm allergic to an ingredient which is in a looot of lip products, especially lip balms which are obviously the best thing for winter. So my favourite Winter lip product would be E45 lip balm, how very interesting.. Although it is really plain it is a really good moisturising lip balm.

3. Most worn Winter clothing piece?
A simple one really, but my coat.. I have a couple of coats but I havn't worn any other coat than my navy New Look coat so far. It's got a fur hood, goes in at the waist and comes just under my bum. It's just a really simple but nice, flattering shape and goes with basically everything!

4. Most worn Winter accessory?
I'd have to say my black oversized scarf from Primark which has skulls on it. It's huge and even though it's not a knitted one it keeps my neck warm enough and goes with everything, I also think it can help a simple outfit look better.

5. Favourite winter scent/candle?
My favourite winter scent isn't a perfume or candle, but the smell of the fire! We have a log fire and I literally get so excited to put it on every winter as I just love it and I love the smell. I love coming downstairs in the morning and it still smells like fire from the night before, mmm.

6. Favourite Winter beverage?
I'd have to say milk.. The only hot drink i've ever liked is tea but i've even gone off that lately, i'm SO fussy and have the worst appetite. So yeah, not your typical warm winter drink but I do like a glass of milk before bed in the winter.

7. All time favorite Christmas/Holiday movie?
I'm going to have to say elf!! I literally love this film but I also love the grinch and any any any christmas film at all I just love christmas!!

8. Favourite Christmas/Holiday song?
Has to be jingle bell rock! I love this song and it also always reminds me of one of my favourite films, you probably all know i'm going to say mean girls!

9. Favourite Holiday food/treat?
Elizabeth Shaw mint chocolates. Omg. Best things ever, I only ever see them around at christmas which sucks but you get yourself to the supermarket and find that octagon shaped box filled with the little round chocolates and you will thank me for introducing you to these amazing damn things.

10. What is your favourite Christmas Decoration this year?
My favourite Christmas decoration will always be the lights on the tree, I just love having all the lights off expect the tree lights and they look so pretty and twinkly and lovely.

11. What's at the top of your Christmas list?
There's not really one particular product I really want the most, but a lot of products i'm lusting after which you can check out in my christmas wishlist!

12. What are your plans for the holidays this year?
I'll be spending Christmas day at home with my mum, stepdad, older sister, little sister and my nan and boxing day with my older sister and dad. We take it in turns so one christmas i'm with my mum, the next with my dad and whichever one i'm not with I see on boxing day! The day after boxing day I am taking a trip to Oxford Street with my best friend to shop the sales which I am beyond excited for! All of this is hoping that i'm not working any of these days at my new job, I hope not!!

And because you probably know by now, I don't like a post without a picture or 2...

HAHA

Another thing you may or may not have noticed by now, I frickin' love cats. These pictures make me so excited for Christmas, eeek! So you should all do this tag and be all Christmassy and excited with me and let me know if you do it!

LUSH: Ickle Baby Bot

Hey guys!

So when I went to the shops the other day I couldn't resist a look in LUSH. I really wanted to buy the 'Golden Wonder' bath bomb, but seeing as I shouldn't really be spending my money I made a compromise and got the cheaper 'Ickle Baby Bot' bath bomb.

Ickle Baby Bot is £1.90 so is one of the cheaper bath bombs, so I wasn't expecting anything fancy but it has essential oils to help you sleep so he looked lovely and relaxing and also rather cute.

Before, during and after
I'm just gonna point out that I did have bubbles in my bath before the bath bomb as he's not a bubbly one, they wern't created by mr robot. It doesn't do anything particularily interesting like some of the others, it just fizzes for a while then leaves your bath a lovely blue but for the price I wasn't expecting anything too special. It did make me really relaxed though and the next morning I actually woke up about an hour later than usual, luckily I didn't have to be up early yesterday!

So overall, whilst it wasn't really amazing and didn't do anything really cool it was a nice little treat and did relax me very well! I would recommend this if you have issues with sleeping or if you're on a tight budget but want something a bit more special than your typical ball shape bath bomb. I also think it's a really cute stocking filler type present, I just think he's so cute!

What is your favourite LUSH bath bomb?

Mini haul: Republic, Zara, Primark, LUSH

Hey everyone!

So as you will know from yesterdays post I went shopping all on my larry, I actually only went to get one pair of jeans but came back with a couple more bits..

Dark  blue acid wash Lexi Skinny jeans - Crafted at Republic £30 but when I got to the till they were £20, fab
Black Slim jeans - Trafaluc at Zara £19.99
Primark goodies - Backcombing brush £1 | Knickers £1 each (couldn't resist some festive pants) | Hairbands £1 | Cross necklace £1.50
Better view of the cross necklace - I bought this to put a ring on as i'm not allowed to wear rings at my new job but I have one i've always worn 24/7. It's just a simple thin band that says 'courage'
Ickle Baby Bot bath bomb - LUSH £1.90 | review coming
The essentials of course, the chocolate buttons are to put on a cake for my last day of work but I had to open it cos my little sister was going mad cos she wanted one so I gave in. Then I might have eaten a few myself... The sweets are also for my last day of work and I WILL resist until then!
I also bought some ridiculously soft pink pyjamas for my little sister which were £5 from Primark but she had her hands on those before picture time. I bought a couple of presents for my best friends secret santa but I won't be putting those on here in case she has a look! So that's everything I bought, not too much as I now have no money for a month due to my new job I start on monday. Considering the jeans are for work I think I did rather well on my shopping trip compared to usual!

OOTD + FOTD

Hey guys!

Today I just went shopping to get some jeans for my new job (yes, uniform is jeans, super duper) but I had to go by myself as all my friends are working or at college or uni etc. Booooring, but I really needed to get some new jeans so yes off I went on my lonesome.

Bobble hat -New Look | Jumper - Zara | Leather look/wet look leggings - Primark
Sparkly jumper!
I also wore my black Converse and my big Navy coat from New Look to keep me warm although it was absolutely boiling in the shopping centre! I ended up taking my hat off and putting my hair up as I was so frickin hot which was a major disaster cos I was using it to cover up my terrible roots!

And my face of the day...

Estee Lauder Double-wear foundation in 2W1 (I think)
E.l.f. coverstick in 'apricot beige' under eyes
LUSH colour supplement in 'light yellow' on red cheeks and the scar on my nose
Rimmel Stay Matte pressed powder in 'peach glow'
GOSH Bronzing Pearls
Natural Collection eye shadow in 'crushed walnut' in eyebrows
E.l.f. clear mascara on eyebrows
E.l.f. eyelid primer
Natural Collection eye shadow in 'barley'
E.l.f. liquid liner
Natural Collection LashBuild mascara
Collection 2000 lip liner in a pale pinky nude colour
Natural Collection Moisture Shine lipstick in 'rose petal'

This sounds like so much make up when it's in a list! Crrraaazy. I did buy a few things out shopping so a mini haul will be arriving very sooon.

Also Kimberley, the winner of my giveaway, recieved her prizes today so check out her post on that!

Replica Topshop skirt!

Hey guys!

Just a super quick post to inform of some very intersting findings! I have seen leather skater skirts everywhere and love them and I have been particularily lusting after the Topshop one with studs around the waist. However, just having a browse on ebay as you do and I find basically the same skirt for half the price!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170901980618?var=470195664935&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I'm not sure on what the quality would be like but I have had good experiences with ebay before and this one does come from England. Usually a lot of the cheaper items on ebay come from China and I did expect this would but no no all the way from Salford. I have just got a new job so I am going to be poor for a month until my first pay, booooring, but when I get paid I am going to purchase this! (Unless Topshop happen to put theirs in the sale....)

Rimmel: Marshmallow heaven

Hello everyone!

So I tried blogging this from my phone earlier, let's just say it did not go well and I nearly threw my phone on the train tracks whilst I was waiting for my train. Safe to say I will not try blogging from my phone again :)

I bought this nail polish on the Boots 3 for 2 a couple of weeks ago and I've only just got round to using it, i'm not sure why it's called 'Marshmallow heaven' as I always thought marshmallows were pink and white...

I'm not actually sure whether I like this colour on me or not, everyone's been wearing lilac and i've been loving how it looks but on me i'm just not sure. I think it might be because i'm rather pale and this would definitely look better with a tan! However I do like the colour itself and will probably use this again when I've got some fake tan on!

Colour aside, I reaaally like the formula of this, believe it or not I don't actually think i've used a Rimmel Lasting Finish polish before! Crazy, I know. But I really like the formula, it went on really smoothly and dried quickly and it looks really shiny and smooth, it's definitely a good quality formula. So I would definitely recommend these nail polishes and will probably be investing in some other colours from this range!

What do you think of the Lasting Finish range? Do you like lilac polishes?

I want a fur collar!

Hey guys!

So I saw this fur collar on h&m and i've fallen in love!

£12.99 each - H&M
It's the kind of shape you would get on a coat which has a fur collar attached to it so it is just so easy to throw on with almost anything! If you didn't know, on the h&m website there is a section called 'dressing room' where you can put different pieces together and see what they look like which I LOVE and think is such a brilliant idea. So i've put together a few outfits to show you how this can go with so many things and can literally transform an outfit!

I've used this light brown coloured collar as it's my personal favourite and as you can see you can just throw it ontop of anything. I do think it looks best with coats and jackets as it looks like it is attached to it, my favourite is on the leather jacket as I really want a normal leather jacket and also one with a fur collar so this way I only need one jacket! I also think it's a really reasonable price considering you can make a million new outfits with it! It's also nice and warm for winter :) I will be buying this as soon as I have some money, however as I've got a new job which I start in two weeks I won't be getting paid from it for six weeks!! Good things come to those who wait :)

So I hope you enjoyed this post and if you havn't entered my giveaway get onto it quick quick as it ends on Thursday!!

I've looked quite a few times and they never have it and with the giveaway ending on Thursday I've decided to change it to the new Undressed eyeshadow palette!

MUA Undressed palette
Although I've had to change the prize, this is a brand new palette and the colours look amaazing! So I hope you don't mind but it was this or nothing :)

Only 3 days left to enter so get onto it super quick if you havn't already!

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque

Hey guys!

What a horrible wet monday morning! I got ID'd for childrens nurofen this morning aswell, do I reaaaally look that young?! Anyways, as you might have seen in a haul I bought the John Frieda Frizz-Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque when it was on offer in Boots.

I bleach my hair blonde which obviously is not the best for your hair. I have cut down sooo much on heat styling however the damage has been done and can't be reversed. I look after my hair so much more now so I'm always trying new masques and shampoos and conditioners but they only ever seem to make a tiny difference that doesn't last. I always find that things make my hair soft but it only lasts a day and that's it, however this is definitely better!

I've used this a few times now and it makes my hair sooo soft, less knotty and it just kind of falls nicely and looks in better condition. It also helps with frizz which obviously it is meant to, my hair is smoother and those little baby hairs that like to stick up and out and everywhere are more tamed. Even when my hair is still soaking wet I can feel that it is softer and it gets rid of almost all the knots and my hair is so easy to brush after my shower. And the best thing, these effects actually last, my hair still feels soft and smooth up until the next time I wash it! I wouldn't say this is a miracle and my hair is now perfect but it has definitely made a lot of difference to my hair and I will be repurchasing when it runs out!

PS: I literally just got a call to say i've got a job woohooo! It's at nando's and i'm actually really excited, the company is amazing and so are the people! I know it may not be everyones idea of a great job but i'm so excited haha! I start in training in two weeks and I don't even want to wait that long :)

Don't forget to enter my giveaway which ends on thursday!! :)
